Wobble – 4-5 week old male Ginger Domestic Short-Haired Cat

Wobble is a very special kitten, who is wobbly by name and wobbly by nature. Wobble has been diagnosed with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), which means he has problems coordinating his limbs, and therefore can be rather unsteady on his feet. Although CH is not a life-limiting condition it is permanent, and Wobble has certain requirements for his forever home to keep him safe from injury. He will need a single-storey home without stairs (i.e. a bungalow or flat), as although he can pull himself up steps he really struggles to get down without falling.

GREAT NEWS! This Cat Has Now Been Rehomed
This cat has now found a new home. There are more cats still looking though! Register for our cat adoption matchmaker service & we’ll send you a hand picked selection of newly adoptable cats:

As he frequently falls over and runs into things he would be best suited to a mostly carpeted or rug-covered home without too many obstacles, and minimal sharp edges. A fully enclosed outdoor garden with unclimbable walls would be ideal, but may not be necessary if there is sufficient enrichment indoors. Wobble loves human (and feline) company so would like a home where he won’t be left alone for long periods of time, and would be very happy if there was another friendly cat in the home to play with. He uses food bowls with rubber bottoms to stop them from slipping, and needs some simple adaptations to the litter tray to give him some extra support when going to the toilet.

It might sound like he needs a lot, but in return you’ll get the sweetest, cuddliest, friendliest and funniest kitten to spend your time with. He loves being carried around and cuddled, and his foster mum has even considered buying a sling so he can come everywhere in the house with her! He has the loudest purr and adores a belly rub, and he will play all day (boxes, tunnels and balls are his favourites) before curling up for a snooze in the nearest lap or on the nearest rug. He’s a chatty chappy too, and will let you know if you’re late with his next meal, or if it’s time to wake up and play with him. He doesn’t let his disability hold him back and can zoom around when he wants to, so there’s plenty of typical kitten mischief with this little man too. Wobble is fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped, so is all set for his forever home.

If you think Wobble could have a place in your heart and home (and you can meet all his requirements) please get in touch and we can tell you more about him.
