Willis is a 4 year old male Black and White Domestic Short-Haired Cat. Willis has really settled into his foster home now. He is very relaxed and friendly. He never bites or scratches and is very gentle. He loves to sit on your knee and snuggle up to have a fuss. If allowed he likes to sleep at the foot of our bed. His favourite game is to twitch his tail and pretend it is a mouse, chasing round and round until he catches it!
When he first came to us he was very nervous and hid under a chair for a few days. Eventually he ventured out to explore and his confidence has grown ever since. If he felt cornered he would hiss at you but has never been aggressive I think he may have been mistreated in the past and learned this defensive behaviour. He has stopped hissing now that he has settled in and knows that he is safe.
He would really like to be able to go outside now and explore some more so would like a house with a garden. He has been outside a couple of times but doesn’t go very far. He would suit a home with adults or older children as I think he would be a bit jumpy with young children running around.
Willis has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and can’t wait to finally find the place he belongs, so if you think that could be with you please get in touch.
