Meet Mystic, a 2 year old black female who is the most gorgeous little fluffy cat. She has stunning green eyes and a coat black as coal. Scared and traumatised Mystic came to Sunny Harbour with her friend Snowbelle after their previous owner moved away and left them on the streets to fend for themselves.
Tired and very dirty after their weeks / months of life on the street they were weary and in very poor condition. Today Mystic has the most silky soft coat and just longs for affection. Her photographs do her no justice at all as is often the case with black cats!
Mystic is a very affectionate little cat that can on occasion be a little wary of strangers. That said if you sit for just a short while and talk with her she will soon come round for petting and head rubs. (as can be seen in the pic to the right).
We would prefer Mystic to go to a home with someone who is willing to let Mystic settle at her own pace in her new home and allow her to overcome her fear of change. In return you will receive an abundance of love and affection as she has the most gentle, loving nature and is full of kisses and cuddles.
Mystic is in no way a nervous cat she is simply what I would describe as cautious, but who could blame the wee soul after what she has been through. We will be homing Mystic on her own and would like to find her a home where she is the only cat in the household as she is not overly comfortable around other cats. Compatibility with dogs is unknown.
Ideally we would like to find Mystic a home as a companion cat or as a family cat where there are older children so that she can blend in as she feels comfortable. We also feel that an indoor / outdoor home would be more suited to Mystic so any potential home would need to be away from any major roads. Alternatively steps taken to cat proof your garden or provision of a secure run area would be advisable.
Although Mystic has a fluffy coat it is very light and fine and would require only minimal brushing once or twice a week to maintain. Mystic is neutered, vaccinated, wormed and deflead.
