Socks came into us in September. She was so scared of humans she had to be caught in a trap and it took several weeks for her to trust us enough to find out if that she was a girl. Nine months after she came into our care, she’s still very tiny . . . probably as she had to fend for herself whilst a kitten and is still smaller than the average cat giving her a kitten sized frame. Socks will now enjoy being stroked and actively rubs her head against your hand. She’s still put herself out of the way in the kennel but seems to be sharing it with other cats without this causing her an issue.
We really want to see this girl now take the next step to being in a family home. She was so frightened when she arrived there was a question over whether she would ever be rehomeable so it’s amazing to see how far she has come on and that she is just a tame, very small little girl who needs an owner prepared to continue socialising and encouraging her to become part of family life. We think Socks is approximately three years old.
