Sabrina is a 6 year female black domestic short hair cat. Sabrina came in to the rescue via the RSPCA who were doing a seizure of 100 cat from one home!! If that was not a bad enough start for our little Sabrina, we also discovered she was pregnant, it was very clear that this was not her first litter. After a few weeks the pregnancy did not seem to be progressing so off she went to the vets. Our vet Tom at Companion Care also felt this was not right so decided to open her up and see what was going on, lucky he did, the kitten inside her had perforated through her womb and had died in her abdomen, it had obviously been there for a few weeks and there was a mass of infection, Tom said he has seen this before but the mummy cat has died literally hours after the kitten has come through the womb, how Sabrina had survived this long with all this happening and seeming perfectly fine all of the time is nothing short of a miracle.
Sabrina has now recovered from all of her operation and is ready for a new home, Sabrina does love her cuddles, however she will tell you with a bite when she wants no more fussing, she is still very playful, however she would not suit a home with children or dogs, due to coming out of a home with over 100 cat we feel she would be fine with other cats.
Sabrina is fully vaccinated, micro chipped, fiv and felv tested and neutered. If you feel you could offer Sabrina a home either call 02380 893188 or e-mail info@allanimalrescue.co.uk
