Hello, my name is Lloyd and I am a handsome 6 year old male. I originally came into Heavens Gate as my previous owner was no longer able to care for me. I have had a very unsettled life to date, which has sadly left me being an insecure and reserved chap. I prefer to approach you in my own time and once I decide to have a fuss I enjoy a gentle stroke or a tickle under the chin. I am independent and love to have my own space. I also love to explore and I need to be able to do this in a rural setting as I don’t like over populated areas.
I have not had contact with children in the past and as I do enjoy my own space and independence, would prefer to live with adults or teenagers only. I would prefer to be the only pet in the house hold however I have lived with cats in the past and we got on well, it would just depend on the temperament of my new fellow companion.
I have never lived with a dog before however here at the center dogs don’t seem to worry me. It would need to be the right dog, one that would leave me alone and allow me to have my own space.
