Cuddles was abandoned on The Home’s doorstep just before Christmas, with a simple note attached explaining she is 3 years old, deaf and lived a life indoors. Cats react differently when they arrive at The Home, but being deaf understandably heightened poor Cuddles’ apprehension and she found the situation very stressful.
Cuddles has taken a while to settle and let people approach her but she is improving every day, gaining more confidence and allowing people to make a fuss of her. Being deaf, she needs to be approached carefully and gently as she can be startled very easily.
Cuddles is a beautiful girl who needs a calm environment where she can gain confidence and trust in her own time to allow her true personality to shine through. Ideally, we would like Cuddles to go to a new home where there is an enclosed garden to give her the experience of going outside. However, we will consider indoor accommodation with secure balcony/roof terrace access.
